Society of St. Andrew

The mission of The Society of St. Andrew (SoSA) is to bridge the gap between food waste and the hungry by engaging thousands of volunteers to glean/salvage fresh produce from the fields and packing houses that would otherwise go to waste and distribute it to food banks, pantries and shelters where it is available to people who need help from food assistance programs. We provide healthy nutritious food to hungry people, like the most vulnerable - the elderly and children who have little or no access to fresh produce, while also reducing the amount of food wasted in America each year.
